Students made proposals to solve problems at Ishizaka Sangyo

On Saturday, November 16th, a project presentation was held by Kokojuku, a non-profit organization that provides career support to students, where students made proposals for solving problems at Ishizaka Sangyo.

Kokojuku provides a place where students can think about and act on their careers in order to eliminate mismatches when they enter society.

For this project, the students actually visited our company, not only touring the facilities but also holding discussions with employees to think about sustainable environmental conservation businesses and solving issues to increase revenue and profits.

At the final presentation, the students themselves presented the ideas that they had carefully thought out over the course of about two and a half months since August.

At the final presentation, Ishizaka also took to the stage and gave a lecture on the theme of “Zero Waste Design – What we can do” about the SDGs and the concept of zero waste, as well as our company’s efforts.

Furthermore, former captain of the Japanese national rugby team, Toshiro Hirose, who moved the whole of Japan with his “One Team” rally, gave a lecture on “captaincy,” which
was a heartwarming experience for students about to enter the workforce.

We will continue to take on the challenge of sustainable activities by incorporating the students’ flexible ideas and other wisdom.
