5/20: We held the “Miyoshi Town Criterium” event, a joint event with the local community.
On Sunday, May 20th, the cycling event “Tour de Higashi-Iruma 1st Miyoshi Town Criterium” was held in the area around Kamitomi, Miyoshi Town, where our company is located.
This event was organized by the Higashi-Iruma Junior Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was held as part of their activities aimed at revitalizing the local community and supporting earthquake recovery efforts. They collaborate with local governments and businesses to carry out a wide range of community contribution activities.
Our company also opened the Mitomi Past and Present Village and helped to make the event a success.
On the day, over 300 runners raced through the natural course around Kamitomi.
Five members of our company, including our CEO Noriko Ishizaka, participated in the “Parade Run” within the event, and enjoyed the refreshing early summer breeze while running surrounded by the cheers of the local community.
Additionally, the winner of the ladies’ division was presented with the “Ishizaka Award,” which included a popular souvenir set from Ishizaka Farm.
We will continue to work hard on community activities together with the local community members who support us on a daily basis!
