Ishizaka Inc. is a designated business operator under the Saitama Prefecture Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Ordinance (Saitama Prefecture Ordinance No. 9 of 2009).
Pursuant to Articles 12 and 14 of the ordinance, designated businesses are required to calculate their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions and report their global warming countermeasure plans and implementation status to the Governor of Saitama Prefecture.
