July–September 2026: Joint Facility Tour Reservations are Now Open

We are now accepting reservations for our joint tour, which will be held from July to September 2026.

About the Joint Tour

Our joint tour offers a chance to visit our resource recovery plant and Sustainable Field, where we will explore together what actions we should take from the perspective of “recycling” and “regeneration”—topics that have garnered significant attention in recent years. By experiencing firsthand both the facilities where waste is transformed into valuable resources and the beauty of the rural landscape, we aim to provide you with new insights and inspiration for positive change.

This tour is recommended for individuals and small groups of up to 10 participants. It is also frequently used as a preliminary visit for corporate and school groups. We offer the following two types of tours to suit your needs. As capacity is limited each day, we encourage you to make your reservation at your earliest convenience.

Please note that in April, we updated the program names to make it easier for prospective participants to select the most suitable option intuitively (see below for details).

About the Program Name Change

In April 2026, we renamed the program previously offered as the “Circular Design Master Program.” To better align with participants’ objectives and facilitate clearer selection, the program has been restructured into the following two formats:

・Circular Economy Hands-on Practice Program (Formerly: Circular Design Master Program – Basic Course)
Objectives: Hands-on experience, mindset development, and practical insights, etc.
・Resource Recycling Plant Tour (Formerly: Circular Design Master Program – Light Course)
 Objectives: Site visit and overbview

Please note that the program content and overall value remain largely unchanged.

Circular Economy Hands-on Practice Program (formerly Basic Course / 4 hours)

This hands-on program includes a guided tour of a resource recovery plant as well as the satoyama environment of “Santome Konjakumura.” Through workshops and dialogue, participants gain a deeper, experiential understanding of “circularity” and “regeneration.”
It is particularly recommended for those seeking practical ideas that can be applied in real-world settings, as well as for those aiming to inspire a shift in mindset among participants.

Resource Recycling Plant Tour (formerly the Light Course / 2 hours)

This tour focuses on visiting an industrial resource recycling plant, where participants learn about sorting systems and resource recovery processes. It is well suited for first-time visitors and for those who wish to gain a concise, high-level understanding of the circular economy in a limited amount of time.

Ishizaka Inc. achieves an industry-leading reduction and resource recovery rate through thorough sorting and classification. Rather than keeping this technology and know-how solely to ourselves, we conduct factory tours throughout the year for everyone to participate in, sharing and spreading this knowledge.
It is precisely because we confront resource circulation and natural environment restoration head-on through our daily operations—waste recycling and satoyama conservation/regeneration—that we can convey this reality. The insights each visitor gains here represent the first step toward realizing a circular society. Learn about the cycles of resources and satoyama, and discover hints for how individuals and companies can contribute to a sustainable society.
