Ishizaka Inc. to Change Its Name to “Ishizaka Gumi Inc.” Effective January 2027

Ishizaka Inc. (Headquarters: Miyoshi-machi, Saitama Prefecture; President: Noriko Ishizaka) will change its name to “Ishizaka Gumi Inc.” effective January 1, 2027.

Since its establishment in July 1967, we have strived to create “a society where waste is not treated as waste.”  By advancing the recycling of industrial waste, we have achieved steady growth with the support of our business partners, stakeholders, and the local community. We are pleased to announce that July 2027 will mark our 60th anniversary, a milestone built on six decades of progress.

This name change is based on the strengthening and expansion of our business operations and service structure, as well as the redefinition of our corporate philosophy, in preparation for our next stage of growth. We are committed to accelerating our efforts toward nature restoration and the realization of a circular economy, delivering new value to society with greater speed.

Message from Noriko Ishizaka, President
“Ishizaka Gumi” was the name of our company at its founding. Since our establishment in 1967, we have championed the vision of “a society where waste is not treated as waste” and have been committed to resource circulation. Today, the world is accelerating its transition to a circular economy.

We are evolving into a company that brings about an “era of reuse.” With this resolve, we are reverting to our original name, “Ishizaka Gumi.” The word “Gumi” embodies the unity and responsibility of like-minded individuals, as well as our determination to build and layer the future together.

Under our new name, as a company that reimagines resources and society, we will go beyond mere recycling to create a circular society where people, nature, culture, and civilization intertwine. We will continue to strive to make this a reality.

We sincerely ask for your continued support.
