With gratitude for the 55th anniversary of our founding

Ishizaka Sangyo Co., Ltd. celebrated its 55th anniversary on July 24, 2022. We would like to express our

sincere gratitude to our customers and associates who have supported us in various ways, making this milestone possible.

During the period of rapid economic growth, over 100 dump trucks lined up every day at Yumenoshima, a popular tourist destination, from early morning until the ocean. While standing in line, our founder, Yoshio Ishizaka, wondered why people in this resource-poor country were casually throwing away usable items and wanted to create a society where waste no longer became waste, leading to the founding of Ishizaka Sangyo.
Fifty-five years have passed since then. Despite some difficult times, with the support of everyone, we have striven to become a company beloved by the local community. Our efforts
to restore the satoyama (satoyama forests) surrounding our company, which began with clearing undergrowth, have led to our second renewal of the highest AAA rating in the JHEP biodiversity certification, the first in Japan to do so.
Going forward, as a company that designs recycling, under our revamped corporate logo, we will do our best to realize our vision of “Zero Waste Design,” which goes beyond sustainability and aims for a regenerative society. We
