Did you know that familiar plants that are usually called “weeds,” such as mugwort, dandelion, and vetch, are actually fine Japanese herbs?
While they tend to be more modest than garden plants, they have long been incorporated into daily life, such as for tea, medicine, dyeing, and wild herb baths, and have beneficial effects that are suited to the Japanese body.
In this special course, we will have as our lecturer Tomomichi Yamashita, also known as the “Herb Prince,” who has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a wild plant researcher, wild plant florist, and food education instructor. He will actually observe wild plants and explain their characteristics and how to use them.
You can also sample tea made with wild herbs!
Why not try incorporating wild herbs into your daily life while experiencing them with all your senses?
