Received renewal certification for “Corporate Value” in the first half of 2018

Ishizaka Sangyo has been selected as a “Corporate Value Certified Company for the First Half of 2018” by the Corporate Value Association.

The purpose of “Corporate Value” is to contribute to the development of Japan’s industry and economy by evaluating the distinctive value of small and medium-sized enterprises and communicating that value to the world and helping it evolve and develop. The Corporate Value
Association conducts renewal reviews every three years to promote the long-term prosperity of each company and the evolution of its distinctive value. This is our second renewal certification, following our first in the first half of 2015.

On February 5th, our Managing Director, Yasuko Ishizaka, attended the Corporate Value Recognition Award Ceremony held at the Palace Hotel Tokyo and received the Corporate Value Recognition Certificate.

Since receiving the certification in 2015, the company has achieved a waste reduction and recycling rate of 98% through improvements in sorting and classification technology, and has been recognized for its sustainable management, including the operation of the hands-on environmental education field “Mitomi Past and Present Village,” which is visited by approximately 30,000 people annually.
