In March 2017, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment and a business delegation from Finland visited Japan. The “Finland’s 100th Anniversary of Independence Bioeconomy Seminar & Reception” was held at the Meiji Memorial Hall in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The seminar aimed to promote understanding of technologies related to Finland’s proud bioeconomy.
Approximately 100 people from business, government and administrative sectors gathered at the event, providing a valuable opportunity to exchange information on innovative technologies and products related to bioenergy, biogas, biofibers, bioplastics and other forest-based technologies.
