Our supply of materials to civil engineering construction sites was featured in the April 2025 issue of Nikkei ESG’s “Leaders” as an initiative to recycle recycled waste materials. In the modern civil
engineering and construction industry, the mining and disposal of construction materials, as well as the hardening of soil and poor drainage caused by concrete, are environmentally threatening issues. In response, we supplied recycled materials such as stone and roof tile chips to “Organic Civil Engineering®” construction sites, using them to create pathways for air and water in the soil and stimulate microbial activity.
By utilizing the natural environment and climate of the land, we aim to make it more resilient to disasters. This initiative was highlighted as an example of resource utilization aimed at creating a virtuous cycle toward a society where global resources are recycled.
