Background to Participating in this Project (From Noriko Ishizaka, Representative Director of Ishizaka Sangyo)
: As the world works toward a sustainable society, Ishizaka Sangyo, as a “circulation design company,” is engaged in waste resource recycling projects, Satoyama revitalization projects, and experiential environmental education programs
that explore the circular economy. Our mission is “Living Beautifully with Nature,” aiming for cyclical coexistence with all living things on Earth, and our vision is “Zero Waste Design.” To achieve this, we believe it is necessary to share a global perspective and diverse values while advancing our business. Therefore, we are recruiting talent from around the world from 2022 to 2023. We received applications from 14 countries, and were able to hire five foreign talent (new graduates) from four countries.
However, the working environment for foreign talent in Japan is far from ideal. The problem is that they have no proof of their status other than a visa or passport. If that’s the case, we at Ishizaka Sangyo thought we could help solve that problem first. That’s why we decided to participate in this project. We will
welcome them with the Japanese spirit of hospitality and create bonds that transcend national borders. In this way, we will create an environment where they can work with peace of mind, while supporting the career development that only Ishizaka Sangyo can provide.
