Ishizaka Sangyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Ishizaka Sangyo) is accepting contracts for asbestos analysis, which has seen a sharp increase due to legal reforms.

Due to amendments to the Air Pollution Control Act and the Asbestos Hazard Prevention Regulations (Note 1), it has become mandatory to report the results of preliminary investigations to local governments for demolition, remodeling, and repair work of a certain scale or larger that begins after April 1,
2022. Building on our proven track record, trust, and high technical capabilities, Ishizaka Sangyo will respond quickly to the asbestos analysis needs of businesses, which have increased rapidly due to legal reforms, using the JIS A 1481-1 qualitative analysis method (Note 2).

(Note 2) Qualitative analysis method (JIS A 1481-1) uses a stereo microscope and polarizing microscope to observe the form and optical characteristics of asbestos contained in building materials, products, and raw materials to determine whether it is present or not. It can also be used for qualitative analysis of unintentionally mixed asbestos. Stratified analysis is also possible with a single sample.
