Ishizaka Sangyo Co., Ltd. Environmental Education Support Organization Designation System is a system in which the competent minister designates organizations that support citizens and private organizations engaged in environmental conservation activities and collaborative efforts. Designated organizations are permitted to use the “Environmental Education Support Organization Designation Mark.” The purpose of this designation is to ensure that individuals and organizations wishing to implement environmental education, etc., can access timely information on a wide area or tailored to their needs. With
the new designation of the “Experience Opportunities Research Organization,” the total number of registered businesses has reached seven.
 
Ishizaka Sangyo operates the environmental education field “Mitsutomi Konjaku Mura,” which has been certified as a “place for hands-on experience” under the Environmental Education Promotion Act, and is committed to preserving satoyama (rural areas approximately the size of four Tokyo Domes
 
). In addition, we are committed to further enhancing and expanding our “place for hands-on experience.”

[About the “Place for Hands-on Experience” Research Organization:
This council was established by businesses certified as “places for hands-on experience” by prefectures (ordinance-designated cities) under the Environmental Education Promotion Act, with the aim of improving the quality of hands-on environmental education (Education for Sustainable Development) and developing specialized human resources.

Ishizaka Sangyo reclaimed from a mountain of illegally dumped garbage and preserved. Formerly known as Mitomi Shinden, the village is open to the public to teach the importance of resource recycling to realize a sustainable earth, while also conveying the culture and traditions of the region. Surrounded by nature, the site is approximately the size of four Tokyo Domes, and various environmental education experience programs are held according to the season.
