Received the Corporate PR Manager Award at the 37th Corporate PR Awards

We are pleased to announce that Ishizaka Sangyo has received the Corporate Public Relations Manager Award at the 37th Corporate Public Relations Awards, sponsored by the Economic Public Relations Center (hereinafter referred to as the Economic Public Relations Center).

The Corporate Public Relations Award was established in 1984 by the Economic and Public Relations Center in the hope of promoting the development of corporate public relations, and the Corporate Public Relations Executive Award is given to executives who recognize the importance of public relations, listen carefully to information both inside and outside the company, and actively promote communication by speaking to stakeholders (consumers, employees, the media, investors, etc.) about their management philosophy and vision in order to contribute to the development of the company’s business and society.
Representative Director Noriko Ishizaka’s many years of efforts have been recognized, leading to her receiving this award.

Reasons for the award

After taking over the family business at a time when it was in the midst of the dioxin scandal, he has continued to speak sincerely to the local community for around 19 years. He has built a relationship of trust with the local community through various initiatives, such as opening the factory to the public to promote local understanding of waste disposal, and opening up the preserved and restored Satoyama as a nature classroom to support hands-on environmental education. He has also focused on top-level public relations, creating opportunities for books, lectures, interviews, and exchanges, and has widely disseminated the message to society that the industrial waste industry is a driving force behind a recycling-oriented society. He was recognized for his contributions to the social significance of the industrial waste industry and the creation of new value.

Ishizaka Sangyo has inherited the founder’s vision of creating a society where waste does not become waste, and through its resource recycling business, it aims to spread “Zero Waste Design” to the world and further enhance the value of its brand.
