Certified as “Corporate Value Certification for the First Half of 2021”

Ishizaka Sangyo received corporate value certification as one of the first-half renewal companies at the “2021 First Half Corporate Value Certification Ceremony” hosted by the Corporate Value Association, a general incorporated association, held on Monday, February 8, 2021.

The Corporate Value Certification System aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises that are the backbone of Japanese industry and to contribute to economic development. The Corporate Value Association reviews the distinctive value and uniqueness of companies and certifies those that it judges to have “distinctive value that is strongly supported by customers and society.” Renewal reviews are conducted every three years to promote the long-term prosperity of each company and the evolution of its distinctive value.

This was Ishizaka Sangyo’s second certification review since it was first certified in 2015, and it was judged that the company “has distinctive values ​​that are leading the world and strongly supported, based on the evaluation of its unique sorting and classification technology that achieves a 98% reduction and recycling rate, its high environmental standards that consider the local community, its “visual management” that welcomes 40,000 visitors a year, its biodiversity conservation, its provision of numerous “opportunities for experience” and experiential environmental education programs, its joint research with industry, academia and government, its new sixth-generation industrialization, and its promotion of energy conservation.” This led to the company’s renewed certification.
