Supporting families with schools closed! “Children’s School Lunches” now available for just 500 yen

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the government has requested that all elementary, junior high, and high schools, as well as special needs schools, across the country close until spring break, and many schools have been temporarily closed.

With school lunches no longer available, families with children attending after-school care or waiting at home are probably busy preparing meals such as bento boxes every day.

Santome Konjaku Village, which is operated by our company, has prepared a one-coin lunch menu for children called “Children’s School Lunch” for the month of March to support local families.

On weekdays in March (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), we will be offering a one-plate lunch for 500 yen (tax included) exclusively to children visiting alone.

Mitomi Past and Present Village is a satoyama (village forest) the size of four Tokyo Domes, a space surrounded by nature. We allow children to play for free, as we want them to run around energetically on the spacious grounds. After your meal, be sure to refresh yourself by moving your body in the forest.

*Children in the forest alone are only allowed to enter if they are in the fourth grade or above. Children in the third grade or below must be accompanied by someone in the fourth grade or above.
