Ishizaka Sangyo received the “Management Innovation Promotion Award”
Ishizaka Sangyo received the Management Innovation Promotion Award at the 2018 Japan Management Quality Awards, which recognizes organizations that are worthy of being a model for reviewing management from a customer perspective and promoting management innovation.
The Japan Management Quality Award is a system established by the Japan Management Quality Award Committee, a public interest incorporated foundation, to recognize organizational capabilities that emphasize strengthening employee capabilities and the customer value they provide in order to improve added-value productivity. The award winners have been selected annually since 1996.
In 2018, a record 17 organizations applied, and 10 organizations were awarded, including three organizations for the top award, the Japan Management Quality Award, five organizations for the Management Innovation Promotion Award, and two organizations for the Management Innovation Encouragement Award.
Ishizaka Sangyo was recognized for its efforts to shift from “waste disposal” to “resource recycling,” promoting management innovation that integrates economic value and social value, as well as for its strong promotion of business standardization and improvement through the “ISO 7 Integrated Management System,” and for its ongoing pursuit of the ideal state through continuous review, including changes in leadership style.
The award ceremony will be held on February 14, 2019, and
the Customer Value Management Forum, where the award recipients will report on their innovation activities,
will be held on February 14, 15, and March 8 at Iino Hall in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, and other locations.
