An interview with Noriko Ishizaka was published in the book “Women Changing Local Communities”

An interview with our company representative, Noriko Ishizaka, is featured in the book “Women Changing Local Communities: The Key is ‘Vision’ and ‘Creating Systems’!” (Nikkei BP), published on November 15th.

In this book, author Sachiko Fumoto, former editor-in-chief of Nikkei Woman, reveals the challenges faced by 17 women who have achieved success across the country through long interviews.

Ishizaka wanted to turn his industrial waste disposal company into a company that was loved by the local community, so he studied the history of the area and the Satoyama, and worked to restore the devastated woodland into a beautiful Satoyama.
As a result, the area has become an environmental education field that is visited by 30,000 people a year.

This book will provide a variety of hints for both men and women, whether they are looking to improve the area where they live or think about their future careers.

In a special message, Kosuke Motani, author of “The True Nature of Deflation” and “Satoyama Capitalism,” talks about “Why women’s power is needed in rural areas.”
