A conversation between our company’s CEO Noriko Ishizaka and former NHK executive announcer Nobuo Murakami has been published.
Representative Ishizaka shared his background and the story of how he became president, and spoke about the company’s initiatives, including why Ishizaka Sangyo, a waste disposal company, is involved in preserving satoyama (satoyama forests), and how the company was recognized in the “Hospitality Management Company Selection” awards.
In response to Ishizaka’s words, his conversation partner, Murakami, sent out the message,
“There is no contradiction whatsoever between satoyama restoration and industrial waste disposal. This will give us an opportunity to think about the worldview of the future.”
