Noriko Ishizaka will give a lecture in Seoul, Korea on Thursday, October 18th.

Our CEO, Noriko Ishizaka, will be speaking at the “ECONOMY Chosun GLOBAL CONFERENCE” to be held in Seoul on Thursday, October 18th.

This conference
is being held to look at the example of Japan, which has emerged from the “lost 20 years,” in order to find clues for the Korean economy to continue to perform well in the future.

Keynote speeches will be given by Taizo Son, the younger brother of SoftBank Chairman Masayoshi Son and a genius at discovering startups, and Koichi Hamada, an economist and professor emeritus at Yale University. Panel discussions will also be held, with Nobuyuki Kondo, Chairman and CEO of Japan Laser Co., Ltd., and Ishizaka taking the stage.

In April of this year, the Korean translation of Ishizaka’s first book, “Even in dire straits, we transformed our company into the most beloved in the world! The tearful story of a second-generation female CEO,” was published in Korea.

I will share the story and management methods that led to the company recovering from a dire situation and continuing to reform into a company that coexists with the local community.
