The environmental learning tour conducted by our company was introduced

The environmental learning tour conducted by our company was featured in an information magazine published by Japan Entrance Examination Center Co., Ltd.

Last month, members of the Japan Entrance Examination Center Co., Ltd.’s Sapix Eco Club Junior Course used our environmental education field, Mitomi Konjaku Mura, as the venue for their environmental learning program.
This program is an educational course aimed at deepening understanding of the environment through visits to nature, satoyama (satoyama forests), environmental learning facilities, and other places, and through learning experiences that can only be experienced there.

On the day, the participants visited a recycling factory that creates new resources from waste, and Ishizaka Farm, a farm that continues the traditional farming methods of the region.
They also experienced environmental education through a workshop using materials from the satoyama area, and were able to use their five senses to learn about life in the satoyama area, where people and nature coexist.

Mitomi Past and Present Village accepts enquiries regarding environmental studies using Satoyama fields.
