We received Smart Shelter Company Certification

On July 4, 2017, Ishizaka Sangyo Co., Ltd. was certified
as the first “Smart Shelter Company” by the general incorporated association Smart Survival Project .

This “Smart Shelter Company” has been recognized as meeting certain standards in a total of 11 certification criteria, including:
– having sufficient disaster preparedness
; – having effective life-saving capabilities in both hardware and software
; – having specific and effective safety actions, evacuation sites, and evacuation routes immediately after a disaster .

In particular, we received praise for our disaster prevention manual , which we have been working on for over six months since last year, and which takes into account every possibility in order to make it a
“practical disaster prevention” manual that is suited to our company’s actual situation .

We believe that our social mission is to protect the lives of our employees, their families, and our customers, and
in the event of an emergency, to contribute to the recovery of the local community through our core business of industrial waste disposal . To this end, we will continue to take the necessary measures and conduct training, and work toward highly effective “active disaster prevention.”
