On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, Ishizaka Gijuku held a special open lecture on the theme, “What is soil?”

Date and time: Wednesday, April 26th, 18:15-19:45
Speaker: Agricultural consultant Yuji Seki

The term “soil” is often used to refer to a variety of different soils, with differences in climate and geological strata depending on the land. This makes soil seem elusive, but by actually touching the soil, you can determine its characteristics and how to use it.

On the day, we were taught about chemical approaches to soil in an easy-to-understand explanation, even for those without prior knowledge.
