Environmental Education

We take on challenges as a company committed to addressing environmental issues head-on.
We strive to change people’s awareness and foster leaders of a society in harmony with nature.

To Transform Environmental Awareness and Shape the Way We Live Next

At Ishizaka Inc., we are working to foster a new generation that can create a sustainable society by raising environmental awareness through environmental education. Through collaboration with local governments, schools, companies, and community groups, we provide educational experiences that utilize real industrial waste and circulate resources.
In order to nurture a society that values resources and understands environmental issues, we offer a variety of programs to meet different needs.

Oak Woods Environmental School

Rather than taking a one-way, instructor-led approach, we offer participatory learning in which participants actively think, discover, and explore for themselves.
Learning opportunities span a wide range of fields, from studying biodiversity and the relationship between nature and people in satoyama landscapes to observing recycling processes up close at waste treatment facilities.
We offer programs tailored to your needs, serving a wide range of groups—from corporate organizations to educational institutions.

Ishizaka Organic Farm

At our company-owned farm, we carry on the region’s traditional circular farming method known as “Musashino Leaf Compost Farming” (recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System), cultivating locally rooted open-pollinated vegetable varieties without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
At “ReDAICHI,” the experiential farm located on the premises, visitors can gain hands-on experience with circular agriculture starting from soil preparation, while learning about traditional techniques that harmonize with nature and the unique characteristics of diverse open-pollinated vegetables.

Green Blue Education Forum
