Our company President has been awarded the “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Japan” in the “Master & Family Business Leader” category.

We are pleased to announce that Noriko Ishizaka, President of our company, has been honored with the “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) 2025 Japan” award (hosted by EY Japan) in the “Master & Family Business Leader” category.

The award ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 9th at The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo.

EOY is an award program that recognizes the efforts and successes of entrepreneurs striving to build a better society. It began in the United States in 1986 and is now held in approximately 80 countries and regions worldwide. It started in Japan in 2001, marking its 25th year this year.

This year, we received the EOY award in the “Master & Family Business Leader” category. This category recognizes entrepreneurs who are “representative figures in their industry or market, bringing long-term value to society,” “serve as role models for all entrepreneurs,” and “have achieved further business expansion through business model transformation or new ventures following succession.”

Selection Committee Summary
Noriko Ishizaka transformed adversity during business succession into strength, revolutionized the norms of the waste management industry, pursued a society where waste is not waste, transformed the company into one cherished by the community, and expanded this vision into reality. Overcoming adversity to create the future. We are deeply impressed by and pay tribute to her relentless challenge.

Noriko Ishizaka’s Acceptance Speech
My father founded the company in 1967, starting a civil engineering business with just one dump truck. From birth, I was raised with affection by many skilled craftsmen. When I joined the company 34 years ago and first saw the factory, witnessing my father working with the strong conviction to “create a society where waste is no longer waste,” I raised my hand to carry on this aspiration and became President at age 30. I am deeply grateful to the employees who have worked alongside me and the family who supported me. I wanted to dispel the industry’s negative image and believed that transforming waste into future resources is work that can make a significant global impact.
