Report on Satoyama Conservation and Restoration Activities

Ishizaka Inc. has worked to restore the satoyama landscape of Santome, carefully nurtured by our predecessors. We have collected illegally dumped waste, tended neglected trees, and revitalized the area as Santome Konjakumura, transforming it into a satoyama rich in biodiversity.

All funds received from you—including Satoyama conservation fees, lecture activity fees, group training fees, and book sales—are carefully used as operational expenses to protect the nature and ecosystems of this Satoyama. We sincerely thank you for your support. Thanks to your support, last fiscal year we were able to welcome many visitors, including companies, organizations, and schools, to this place as a place that “reconnects nature, culture, and people.” We successfully held environmental education programs offering seasonal experiences throughout the year.

We will continue to promote regeneration and strive to enhance the appeal and revitalization of our local community. We sincerely ask for your continued patronage and support.
