December 19th (Tue) [Reconnecting nature, culture and people: Creating biodiverse forests through Nature Positive Design]

Our CEO, Noriko Ishizaka, will be speaking at “Nature Positive Design: Reconnecting Nature, Culture, and People: Creating Biodiverse Forests” at Kudan House in Tokyo on Tuesday, December 19th.
 
Globally, there is growing recognition that biodiversity is the source of future regional prosperity, and the global economy has shifted toward a nature-positive approach (regeneration of nature).
To create new business opportunities, industries must protect natural ecosystem resources as a national commons.
At the local level, we must also redesign not only industry but also human life as part of the ecosystem, so as not to infringe on nature.
 
This event will feature leading design industry figure Taku Satoh, who is working toward a future where everyone cherishes nature and contributes to the life on Earth that nurtures ecosystems. Noriko Ishizaka will discuss Ishizaka Sangyo’s new project, “TOILETOWA,” which focuses on design for biodiverse forests and communities, and circular technology.
