pleased to announce that Representative Director Noriko Ishizaka has received the “17th Nippon New Business Creation Award Global Category Grand Prize (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award).”

The Nippon New Business Creation Award is co-sponsored by the Tokyo New Business Council (NBC; Headquarters: Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yukihiro Igawa) and the Japan New Business Council Federation (JNB; Chairman: Hiroshi Ikeda). This year’s award, under the theme “Regeneration: Beyond the SDGs,” highlights the global focus on “regeneration,” which replaces sustainability. Ishizaka has completely overhauled the industrial waste industry, which has long been perceived as a negative industry, by embracing the idea that “industrial waste is a resource.” Through its business, Ishizaka has created an environment where soil, people, and communities can thrive, including the way it treats its employees. The company has attracted many visitors from overseas and is proud of its business management, not only in Japan but around the world. It is one of the few companies in Japan that embodies regenerative business, and was recognized for its inspiring approach to globally impactful initiatives, even overhauling an old business model. recognizes companies (or their representatives) that provide innovative products and services to the market through new businesses and activities, either independently or in collaboration with third parties, individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in supporting new businesses and activities, and overseas companies that are growing and developing through global business expansion. The award aims to promote new business creation and thereby contribute to the revitalization of Japan’s economy, society, and regions.
