Announcement of the 3rd “Forum for Living with Satoyama”
The third forum of the Satoyama Living Association, chaired by our company representative, Noriko Ishizaka,
will be held on Thursday, November 7th at United Hall (UB1 TABLE/Shibuya-ku) in Tokyo.
The Satoyama Living Association was established in 2017 with the aim of advocating new ways to utilize satoyama and sustainable ideas.
At the forum, prominent figures from various fields will take to the stage to present case studies and give lectures on how to protect satoyama, which have nurtured Japanese culture and sensibilities since ancient times, and how to pass it on to the next generation.
In the second part, a panel discussion will be held with Seiji Nakajima, CEO of Tokachi Satoyama Design Institute, as moderator, and featuring four guests:
aquarium producer Gen Nakamura; Kiyomi
Aoki, CEO of the Association for Protecting Food and Life;
Mariko Tokolo, CEO of Osato Sogo Kanri Co., Ltd., a real estate company beloved by the local community; and Noriko Ishizaka.
