QC Circle toured the site

QC Circles are also known as “small group improvement activities,” and involve dividing the workplace into small groups and continuously repeating small improvements with the participation of all employees.
Our company has also been implementing QC Circle activities since the year before last as part of improvement activities at our recycling plant.

The other day, the members working at the recycling plant gave a presentation on their results.
During the presentation, the executives, including CEO Noriko Ishizaka, visited the actual site and confirmed the ideas and effects of the improvement activities carried out by each team.

Ishizaka toured each site, asking staff who had made improvements
, “Are there any other wasteful or unsafe actions in your work?”
and “First, realize that you need to make improvements, and then in the next step, think about how you can make improvements

For the staff, explaining their improvements in their own words and receiving direct feedback from Ishizaka provided an opportunity to identify new challenges and goals.
