Noriko Ishizaka will be speaking at the World Circular Economy Forum 2018
Our CEO, Noriko Ishizaka, will be speaking at the World Circular Economy Forum 2018, which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama for three days from October 22nd to 24th.
The first World Circular Economy Forum was held in Finland last year, with the theme of how to build a circular economy and how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year’s event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and the Finnish Innovation Fund (SITRA).
Over 1,000 business leaders, government officials, and experts from around the world will gather to share knowledge and engage in international discussions on circular economy technologies.
Our company has adopted the idea of ”CSA (Community Supported Agriculture),” which is becoming popular in the United States and Europe, where producers and consumers living in the same area share the benefits and risks of agriculture, and is working on circular agriculture using locally produced and consumed organic compost.
In his speech, Ishizaka will talk about “future food circulation systems in cities” to realize a circular economy from the perspectives of food safety and security, creating local communities, and revitalizing local communities, while also sharing examples of our company’s initiatives.
