Profile of the President
President, Ishizaka Inc.
She joined Ishizaka Inc., founded by her father, in 1992, and was appointed President in April 2002.
Since assuming leadership, she has led a series of major reforms, including the introduction of all-weather facilities, the integrated adoption of seven ISO management systems, and the acceptance of inspection visits from more than 55 countries and regions worldwide.
At Santome Konjakumura, a satoyama area restored from adjacent woodland, she has promoted environmental education initiatives. The site has received AAA Biodiversity Certification and has been certified by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment as a “Place for Nature-Based Experiences”.
With “Zero Waste Design” as the company’s core vision, she has advanced initiatives centered on Resource Regeneration, including participation in the 30by30 global goal to conserve marine and terrestrial ecosystems, the adoption of 100% renewable energy, and comprehensive efforts toward decarbonization.
Ishizaka Inc. received the Japan Quality Award (2020).
