Our Vision

Why are perfectly usable things casually thrown away in this resource-poor country?

In the midst of the high economic growth era, Japan pushed forward toward “abundance” through mass consumption and mass disposal.

Our founder, Yoshio Ishizaka, posed this question as he saw still-usable items buried in landfills.

This question is our starting point.

More than half a century has passed since then. Even today, under the vision of “Zero Waste Design,” we continue to pursue a society where all resources on the earth’s surface circulate without ever being landfilled. A society that does not leave waste as waste.

Human beings have prioritized economic growth,

resulting in a deep division between life and nature.

Being “sustainable” is no longer enough. Now, we must think beyond “Sustainability” and harness the power of “Regeneration.”

Using traditional Japanese sensibilities, let us once again restore the broken bonds between humanity and nature.

From linear growth to circular regeneration.

Ishizaka Circular Model

A “resource circle” to turn waste into resources. An “economic circle” to develop industries in harmony with the environment. A “cultural circle” to connect people with one another and with nature, taking root. And a “life circle” to coexist with all life forms, including animals, forests, soil, and water.

The Ishizaka Circular Model envisions a world where these circles continuously revolve— resonating and interweaving, never apart.

We’ll never let this concept end as an ideal. To achieve this goal, we will refine our technology and initiate change ourselves.

The ripples spreading from the stone we cast will become a resonant circle and take root as a new culture before we notice.

Resources are limited. Life is limited. Continuing to advance the Ishizaka Circular Model, we develop people and forests, to create a world of interlinked circles.
